History
Ernesto "Che" Guevara was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary recognized worldwide for his part during and after the Cuban Revolution. Profile
Persona 5 Tactica
During the confrontation against Shadow Toshiro, all of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts fell into the Shadow's trap and were incapacitated, leaving Toshiro as the only person to prevent his Shadow from killing Erina. Reminded of Natsuhara's final resolve before he presumably distanced himself from her, Toshiro uses Joker's dagger to cut his Shadow's hand, freeing Erina and saving her. Shocked, the Shadow makes a last-ditch attempt to convince Toshiro that Natsuhara is an insane lunatic that will destroy his life, only for him to undergo an awakening where Erina awakens into his Persona, Ernesto. Toshiro orders Ernesto to fire at will and free the Phantom Thieves, forcing the Shadow to attack them. Despite fighting them on foot and taking the form of a bloodied corpse of Natsuhara, with the help of Toshiro and his newly awakened Persona, the Shadow is defeated and presumably denied.

Trivia
- Elle (エル Eru), the Japanese name of Erina, matches the first two kana in the Japanese name of Ernesto (エルネスト Erunesuto).
- The revolvers in place of Ernesto's legs allude to Eri Natsuhara's crippled legs, whose form Erina is based on.
- Ernesto's status is described by Lavenza and Morgana as a rather unique one, as she displays elements of a Persona, a Shadow and a cognitive being (due to being based on a figure in Toshiro Kasukabe's life in appearance and personality).
- Additionally, she displayed autonomy and retains her personality and is able to revert to her original appearance and act independently even after awakening to her power as a Persona.
- Her unique existence is somewhat comparable to that of Metis from The Answer in Persona 3 FES / Reload, as, much like Erina, Metis is a repressed facet of Aigis' personality that briefly exists independently of Aigis while Aigis is able to summon Personas, like how Toshiro was able to have a Shadow Self and a Persona simultaneously and Erina is able to exist independently of Toshiro during his time in the cognitive world.
- Ernesto's Baywell 45 MkII is the only Gun skill in Persona 5 Tactica and one of the few spells that have no (natural) cost in the entire Persona series.
