This article is about the skill. For more uses, see Endure (disambiguation). |
Endure (食いしばり, Kuishibari)?, also localized as Close Call is a Passive skill.
Effect[]
Endure automatically prevents the user from dying by securing 1 HP.
In Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, the Demi-fiend can learn Endure by having the Vimana Magatama ingested upon reaching Lv.50. The skill can be activated multiple times per battle should a demon with the skill be revived. The Demi-fiend cannot benefit from this due to dying leading to a Game Over.
In Persona 4, Endure does not stack with the Social Link ability of the same name. This means party members can only survive once even with both the ability and the skill.
In Persona 5, if the user has Survival Trick, Enduring Soul, Endure, the trait "Circle of Sadness" and the Homunculus item in the inventory, Endure will only activate after Survival Trick (if against an Insta-Kill) and Enduring Soul have been used, respectively, but will take priority over the rest.
Endure does not protect the user from dying due to using Self Destruct or similar skills. It does not prevent the user from succumbing to death due to Despair. In Royal, due to a glitch, reflected damage can occasionally ignore Endure (and other Enduring effects) and kill the user.
