Effect[]
Door of Hades deals heavy Almighty damage to all foes, and has a medium chance of instantly killing all enemies.
The instant-kill is Curse type: it is unaffected by Makarakarn, but can be blocked with Tetraja. However, this effect never results in a One More even when it successfully kills a target weak to Curse. If Door of Hades's secondary effect is about to kill a foe who has an Enduring ability, including Survival Trick, the Almighty damage will be ignored for that hit, if even it would be fatal on its own. Final Guard can block both the damage and the insta-kill effect on the party. Homunculus, on the other hand, can protect a party member from being insta-killed, but does nothing to the conventional damage. While the barrier created by Bleeding Dry Brush cannot block Almighty, its secondary ability of Curse-affinity modification does neutralize the insta-kill effect without using up the barrier.
Door of Hades is considered an instant-kill skill by Persona Traits, meaning Alice's "Just Die" will reduce its SP cost to 0, while "Deathly Illness" and "Omen" will boost the chance of its insta-kill effect.
