History

Dismayed Panzer is based on Leonardo da Vinci's fighting vehicle, which can be described as the prototype for modern tanks. The body was largely a conical cover inspired by a turtle's shell, which was to be made of wood and reinforced with metal plates that add to the thickness, all in slanting angles that would deflect enemy fire. The machine was powered by two large inside cranks operated by four strong men. For firepower, the vehicle was equipped with an array of light cannons, placed around the perimeter.

Persona 4 / Golden

Dismayed Panzer appears on B3F and B4F of the Secret Laboratory within the Midnight Channel. It will alternate between attacking and boosting its attacks with Power Charge before attacking. If a Dogmatic Tower is present, it will cover the Panzer's weakness with Blue Wall. When defeated, the Dismayed Panzer may drop Iron Barrel. Selling four Iron Barrels at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the En-Giri for Yosuke Hanamura in the shop.

In Golden it has no weaknesses and is immune to electricity, wind, and darkness. It loses Power Charge and swaps Torrent Shot with Mustard Bomb. It may also drop Bloodstone for trade at Shiroku Pub.

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth

Dismayed Panzer appears on Lab Floor 2 of A.I.G.I.S.. When defeated, it may drop Panzer Core and Panzer Turret. Panzer Core is used to create the Wolf Fang Pole for Ryuji Sakamoto, the Burn Whip for Ann Takamaki, the Interceptor for Morgana, Pugilist's Fists for Akihiko Sanada and Makoto Niijima, the Masquerade* for Yukiko Amagi, the Sonic Claw for Teddie, the Shield Gun for Naoto Shirogane, the Raven Claw for Koromaru and Yosuke, and the Ouka Jumonji for Ken Amada. Panzer Turret is used to create the Beam Naginata for the P3P heroine, the Drowsy Shield for Kanji Tatsumi, the Silence Bow for Yukari Takeba, and the Carbon Railgun for Aigis.
