"Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Messenger of the Dead"), is a prequel novel that takes place before Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army, shortly after Raidou Kuzunoha the XIV came to the capital.

- Kyouji Kuzunoha the First - A ruthless devil summoner who does Yatagarasu's dirty work.
