Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Children Black Book (真・女神転生 デビルチルドレン 黒の書, Shin Megami Tensei Debiru Chirudoren Kuro no Sho) is one of the first three games in the Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Children series of games.
The Devil Children games are less violent and dark in comparison to other Megami Tensei titles, and were mostly targeted towards children. Black Book was released at the same time as Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Children Red Book, similar to Pokemon coming in Red or Blue varieties. However, unlike Pokemon, the two versions are rather different.
A third version was later released called Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Children White Book. Both the Red Book and Black Book were later packaged together in a Playstation remake that featured full voice acting.
A translation patch for this game is currently being made by the german translator Tauwasser. You can check the progress for it here.
