This article is about the in-game feature. For list of demons, see category:Demon List. |
The Demonic Compendium (悪魔全書, Akuma Zensho) is an archive of every demon (or Persona in the Persona series) fused, evolved, and recruited throughout the game. The Compendium is located in the facility which player usually fuses demons if the function is not mobile (e.g. Cathedral of Shadows, Gouma-Den or Velvet Room). The Demonic Compendium was first introduced in Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne and has since become a fundamental feature of other installments afterward, including the remakes of older titles.
Features
- Recording recruited or fused demons: every time player recruited or fused a new demon, the data of that demon is automatically registered into the compendium.
- Summoning registered demons: by paying money which scales with the demon's registered level, player can summon the demon instantly of registered data without the need to re-recruit or retrain the desired demon.
- Register demon's new data: if the demon has leveled up and skill repertoire has been modified after the previous registration, player may choose to overwrite the older version of the demon with newer data. The game also allows player to quick-register all demons with modified data.
- Reviewing demon data: player may read the demon's in-game parameters or its brief historical background.
