Shin Megami Tensei II

One of the two demons that Aleph must kill in the Factory. The people of the Factory have lost control of Demi-Nandi and it has started rampaging, influencing the other Demi-Nandis to go wild.

According to an NPC, the Demi-Nandis are mass-produced clones of Nandi that are used as livestock.

• The concept of a demon (Demi-Nandi) being used as a source for food is followed up by the demons of the Food Race in Shin Megami Tensei IV and Apocalypse, who are used to replace livestock meat.
• Demi-Nandi being the main meat livestock of Tokyo Millennium may further highlight its ruling order's decadence and skewed hypocrisy, as bovine deities like Nandi and Aditi are made sacred owing to their ties to gods like Shiva and Brahma and helping mankind in the Hindu religion.
