History[]
Dead Lobster is based on a red lobster. It is commonly taught in the culinary arts that lobsters should only be cooked alive, and that dead lobsters are poisonous or otherwise dangerous to eat even after cooking. In truth, while dead lobsters will slowly turn septic, a dead lobster properly cared for is safe to cook even after several hours. Dead Lobster may also be based on the American restaurant food chain also named Red Lobster, which is located in several nations such as Canada and Japan.
