Annoyed, she warns the girls not to stick too closely to Ikenami, as they might get cyber-bullied. When Shun comes to their defenses, she sees the boys are worthy of her eyes and gushes over their appearances. Daichi reminds her that they're ordinary students and she not need to go overboard, but she snaps at him for offering unwanted advice, calling him to a dog. Shimotsuna asks Shoki to join her for tea, and he reluctantly agrees to join her. Lufel begins to suspect that Shoki's desires are being stolen by Shimotsuna.
Later on Daichi accompanies his employer and the independent producer Kokoro to the Kokatsu Academy, only to be stopped by Kumi Katayama, leading to an altercation between the two women. Several students, including Ikenami arrives to see the commotion. Shimotsuna and Kokoro reveal they arrived with a job offer for Ikenami to act as a lead in a web drama about children of abusive parents, and citing Ikenami's alleged history with abusive parents (told to him by Shimotsuna), Kokoro is under the assumption that Ikenami would be the perfect lead. However they reveal that filming starts right away and would take a year and a half which would lead Ikenami to miss out on the school festival, play, and his final year of high school due to the intensity of the schedule. Shimotsuna stubbornly dismisses these concerns and insists that the job offer matters more. Ikenami, offended by this dismissal, and Shimotsuna's constant rudeness and insults to his teacher and friends, refuses the offer, and states that his parents were never abusive, in spite of Shimotsuna's continued insistence. Kokoro accepts it, but Shimotsuna becomes incensed by it, as well as her humiliation in front of the producer. She threatens to ruin Ikenami's career and slander his parents for denying her. Daichi chimes in, worriedly. He asks him to apologize and comply, cryptically warning that her threats aren't hollow, stating that she might even attack his friends as well. Shimotsuna scoffs, saying it's too late for apologizes, stating that Ikenami's only recourse is mindless obedience, before taking her leave.
