Three Crying Tables act as a sub-boss found on the 25th floor of Tartarus in Arqa Block. They impede the party's progress and must be beaten to proceed. The Crying Table later reappears as a regular enemy in the Arqa Block of Tartarus between floors 48 to 63. It has no resistance to Rage, and is immune to all other status effects.
As a sub-boss, it will alternate randomly between using Maragi, Agilao, and Poisma (in the event no party members are poisoned yet). If it gets a One More, it will use either Mighty Swing or Torrent Shot.
It also reappears as a boss on the 8th floor of Ptolomea with the Wondrous Magus and Cowardly Maya. This variant has a minor weakness to Panic and Distress, while resisting all other status ailments.
Persona 3 Reload[]
Like the previous games, Crying Table appears in the second half of the Arqa Block of Tartarus between floors 52 and 68. Two stronger versions known as the Grievous Table appear as support for the Heretic Magus boss fight on floor 35 in the Arqa Block.
The daughter of the model salesman (found on the second floor of the Practice Building) will ask for a Reflecting Board in Quest #12: Desk Refurbishing, Part 2. After accepting her request, Crying Table will drop Reflecting Board when defeated. It will not drop Brave Lumber until the quest is completed.
In Golden, Crying Table appears in Baths 8 through 10 of the Steamy Bathhouse. It trades Marakunda and Matarukaja for Makajam and Diarama to silence foes and heal themselves respectively. It may also drop Fluorite for trade at Shiroku Pub. Selling 5 Brave Lumbers is enough to unlock the Bravery Vessel accessory in the shop.
