Crossroads of Fate Museum Arc

Crossroads of Fate: Museum Arc is an event in Persona 5: The Phantom X.

Profile[]

Crossroads of Fate: Museum Arc is the second Crossroads of Fate event. It was released simultaneous with the Bank Arc with the ending of the Museum Arc leading directly into the Bank Arc.

With Shun joining the group, the Phantom Thieves prepare to enter the Metaverse, but as before, instead of Mementos they end up in a mysterious Museum due to the Meta Nav malfunctioning. Their memories of the last time they met the other Phantom Thieves in the castle return and fill Soy in on the situation and realize they got separated from Closer. As they enter the Museum they are ambushed by shadows; Panther, along with the new member of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, Fox, assist in defeating them. While exploring the palace, Fox explains that it belonged to his former mentor Ichiryusai Madarame and that he had joined the Phantom Thieves to steal Madarame’s treasure and change his heart. Yet the palace has reappeared despite their previous success and collapse and, as before, cognitive beings connected to Miyazawa’s palace have appeared within it. The two groups eventually find the location of the "core," along with Skull and Mona. The Phantom Thieves steal the "core," but oddly it does not cause the palace to collapse. Realizing the palace has a second "core," they decide to steal that one as well. After finding it they discover the first "core" was a fake and that they were tricked, as before. The ruler of the palace, Dvesha, attacks them, but they defeat him and seize the real "core." They note that Dvesha resembles Madarame’s shadow form, similar to how Raga resembled Kamoshida’s shadow. Despite stealing the real "core," the palace still does not collapse. Outside, Mona and Cattle sense another "core" and a being with a strong desire; they eventually spot a floating bank that the Phantom Thieves of Hearts recognize as resembling the palace they had been infiltrating. The group decides to enter, guessing the members of their groups they did not encounter are inside.
