This article is about the skill. For more uses, see Counterstrike. |
Counterstrike (ヘビーカウンタ, Hebii Kaunta)? is a Passive skill.
Effect[]
In the Persona series, Counterstrike automatically grants the user a medium chance of being defended from a physical attack and reflecting it back at the attacker.
Like the other Counter skills, Counterstrike cannot stack with other Counter skills, and will override Counter if said skill is still in a moveset.
In Persona 5, the skill can also reflect Gun Skills, unlike Repel Physical. However, it does not protect the user from repelled attacks. When performing gun attacks, each individual round has a chance to be reflected by Counterstrike, in which case the user's turn will immediately end. The reflection granted by Counterstrike cannot be ignored by Oda Special.
In the Digital Devil Saga duology, Counterstrike grants the user a chance to instantly make a physical attack against any physical skill or regular attack that hits them. Unlike in Persona, Counterstrike can stack with other Counter skills such as Counter and High Counter, and these passives will work in Human Form.
