The unique circumstances surrounding this Confidant's establishment result in a highly irregular Confidant. Gameplay-wise, the protagonist automatically starts Sae's Confidant on July 9th; narratively, however, the entire Confidant occurs during Sae's interrogation of the protagonist on November 20, meaning it does not occur concurrently with the calendar and does not take effect until after her Palace is cleared. The Confidant is automatically ranked during certain story events, and dialogue options do not grant points. It does not provide any overworld bonuses, nor does Arcana burst affect Judgement Personas before November 20; this means the protagonist can only take advantage of its effects after it is maxed out because November 20 is a plot day where the Velvet Room is inaccessible. The Confidant's only gameplay function outside basic Rank 10 bonuses is to allow the calendar to progress beyond November 20; it is otherwise purely a story Confidant.
