The protagonist can unlock Kawakami's Confidant as early as May 25th. To initiate it, he must participate in Operation Maidwatch by talking to Yuuki Mishima about the maid poster in Shibuya's Central Street in the evening; this can be done two days after clearing Madarame's Palace, possibly as early as May 24th. The following day, the protagonist must talk to Kawakami in the 2F hallway of Shujin Academy to get her phone number. She can be called at night from the yellow phone in Leblanc after the protagonist has reached rank 3 Guts (Staunch) to formally establish the Confidant. The cost to summon Kawakami is 5,000 yen per interaction until her Confidant reaches rank 9, at which point her interactions become free of charge.
Kawakami's romance can only be pursued by selecting a specific dialogue choice in her Rank 7 event in advance.[1][2]
Completing Kawakami's Confidant enables the fusion of Ardha. She also gives the protagonist Unlimited Service on 3/19, which unlocks Special Massage once the protagonist establishes Kawakami's Confidant in New Game Plus.
Despite collapsing from exhaustion, she keeps working to meet the guardians' demands...
