Cimeies, also known as Kimaris, is a demon in the series.

History

Kimaris, also known as Cimeies, Cimejes and Cimeries, is the 66th demonic spirit of the Ars Goetia. He is a Marquis of Hell and commands 20 legions along with all the spirits of Africa.

Kimaris, despite being a demon, is known to be a goodly warrior riding a black shadowy horse, and possesses the abilities of locating lost or hidden treasures, teaching trivium (grammar, logic and rhetoric) and making a man into a warrior of his own likeness.

Baskin's Dictionary of Satanism speculates that Cimeries is derived from Cimmerians, a warlike people mentioned in the works of several classical authors as dwelling totally in darkness.
