Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE
Sawafuji appears in the third and final of Tsubasa Oribe's side stories, "A Wind Named Tsubasa." He is a genius musician that has composed numerous hit songs. His first appearance in the game is at Fortuna Entertainment, where he was meant to discuss creating a new song for Tsubasa, but he brusquely rejects the idea and leaves. It is then revealed that Sawafuji had previously composed songs for an idol of sensational popularity who had tragically died a year ago. The idol was killed when a Mirage attacked and consumed her Performa whole. At the time, Kiria had attempted to fight the Mirage, but it was too powerful for her and Tharja alone, and they were forced to retreat.
Itsuki and the others soon realize that that very same Mirage, Pheros, now has Sawafuji in her thrall and will likely consume his Performa next. They find Sawafuji and Pheros within Illusory Daitou TV, where Tsubasa manages to break Sawafuji free of Pheros's control with the power of her song.
After Pheros's defeat, Sawafuji holds a second meeting with Tsubasa at Fortuna Entertainment. Without hesitation, he offers to write her a brand new song. The song he creates for her is "Fly: You're My Wind", which goes on to become a massive hit.
