Design[]
Chizuko is an elderly woman with short white hair and Tuscan red eyes. She wears a black tailored jacket, a dark brown handkerchief with beige Tiger Lily on it tied around her neck and orange spectacles. On the bottom, she wears striped high waisted leggings and black slippers.
When in her Phantom Thief form, she has long hair and wears a dark turquoise leather jacket with golden buttons. Inside her jacket, she wears a gray and black slim sweater. Her mask has an eyepatch on the left. On the bottom, she wears gray slim pants and black and dark blue boots.

Persona 5: The Phantom X[]
Chizuko is an 75-year-old lady who likes drinking and can hold her liquor. She has a straightforward, reliable personality, but also has difficulty communicating with her granddaughter, the only family living with her.
She is good at playing saxophone, but has dropped it since her husband who was also enthusiastic about music passed away.
She is sometimes seen in Shinjuku, hanging in a local bar.
Conveying the Notes from the Heart[]
The protagonist first encounters Chizuko outside the local snack bar in Shinjuku. During the conversations in a local bar, he gets to know about Chizuko's worry over her granddaughter. Through this, he learns that the girl who he once encountered that attempted suicide in the Prologue has survived the fall, but substained severe injuries.

- Her codename means "wine" in Spanish, fitting herself in reality who likes drinking and her Persona II as the spirit of vines.
- Her AOA Quote “I can’t find a good place to stop” comes from famous Jazz musician John Coltrane.
