Change Relic appears as a sub-boss found on the 36th floor of Tartarus. It impedes the party's progress and must be beaten to proceed. It blocks all ailments and drops Coin of Queen when defeated.
The protagonist may make use of Fortuna's Wind resistance for this battle, as she can be fused from the Chimera and Inugami cards collected during Shuffle Time in the Arqa Block once the protagonist reaches level 17. An easier alternative is Gurr, a Persona that's level 15 with a Wind resistance. Alp may also be collected during Shuffle Time as a weaker alternative. Change Relic will also make frequent use of its Poison Mist skill, so having Dis-Poisons on hand will mitigate the problem it poses. Additionally, once the protagonist reaches level 17, the Wind Charm accessory becomes available at Be Blue V for 7,000 yen, which can be used to bolster Junpei Iori with the Dodge Wind ability.
In The Answer of Persona 3 FES, it appears as a regular enemy in Empyrean.
Persona 3 Reload[]
Change Relic appears as one of the Monad Passage bosses in the second half of the Tziah Block, appearing alongside an Intrepid Knight. An alternate version known as the Clairvoyant Relic appears as a sub-boss on floor 42 in the Arqa Block.
Change Relic appears in Stories 3 and 4 of the Evil Spirit Club. It attacks with medium Physical skills and may lower the party's defense with Marakunda. When defeated, it may drop Statue Piece, Statue Hinges, and Statue Blade. Statue Piece is used to create the Axion IG and Aigis Armor 7 for Aigis. Statue Hinges are used to create the Light Pin and Dark Pin accessories. Statue Blade is used to create the Titanic Knuckles for Akihiko.
