Cain is a recurring character in the Fire Emblem series, specifically the games set on the continent of Archanea. A knight of Altea serving under Marth, he was also known as the "Bull" of Altea and fought alongside his partner Abel, the "Panther."

Cain and Abel together established a long-standing character trope in the Fire Emblem series. Most entries in the franchise feature a pair of cavalier units with distinctive red armor (matching Cain) and green armor (matching Abel).
