Persona 5 / Royal[]
A Makami afflicted with Burn in Persona 5.
In Persona 5, combatants inflicted with Burn will lose 10% of their maximum HP after every action they perform, including via One More, although combatants that can naturally act twice per turn like Savage Shadows will only take Burn damage once. Decimals in damage taken are always rounded down. Once the HP drops to 1, Burn stops inflicting damage, and thus, is never fatal. Burn has an expiration timer of either 1 or 2, and thus will randomly expire at the start of the combatant's second turn or third turn. The damage taken from Burn is not reduced by guarding and does not break the guarding stance.
If a party member afflicted with Burn finishes a battle simultaneously, Burn will still activate and deal damage. If Burn is self-afflicted via Repel, the end of the action will deal damage from the ailment, although its expiration timer does not begin until next turn.
Combatants immune to Fire damage because of their affinity are also immune to Burn, unless they are under the effect of Fire Break. If a combatant is already Burned, getting Fire immunity will not cure them of the ailment.
Burned combatants are susceptible to Technical damage from Wind and Nuclear skills.
Shadows instantly recover from Burn if negotiated with.
