Barbatos (バルバトス, Barubatosu) is a demon in the series.

History

Barbatos is the 8th spirit of the Goetia. He is a great Duke and appears with four noble kings and their companions in great troops. He gives understanding of the singing of birds and communications of other animals. He can also break open treasures that have been hidden or locked with the magic of magicians. He was of the order of Virtue. He knows all things of the past and future and can reconcile with friends or those in power. He rules over 30 legions of demons.
