Avians have the Flight Racial Skill, which passively increases the team leader's move range by 1 and allows them to move through obstacles (and enemy teams) rather than needing to circumvent them. Stronger Avians in Devil Survivor 2 have an enhanced version that also raises the movement range by 2 instead of 1.
