Etymology[]
This skill is a modern cultural reference to Pegasus Meteor Fist (ペガサス流星拳, Pegasus Ryuusei Ken)? from the Saint Seiya media franchise. Its rig and effect animations are extremely faithful to the source material.
Trivia[]
This is the second time the Megami Tensei series makes direct reference to Pegasus Meteor Fist. In the Persona 2 duology, there exists a combo attack also alludes to Saint Seiya, and is localized as "Pegasus Strike" in the English version.
