Arcane Turret is a sub-boss found on the 122nd floor of Tartarus in a group of three. They impede the party's progress and must be beaten to continue. It also appears as a normal enemy in the Tziah Block of Tartarus, between floors 115 to 138.
Because these sub-bosses have Ziodyne as one of their skills, bringing Aigis to this fight is not recommended due to her weakness to Electricity. Mitsuru is a recommended party member for this fight due to her Mabufu and Bufudyne skills despite her weakness to Fire, because she can be used to knock down the enemies and perform an All-Out Attack for heavy damage, after which the player can use Ice skills to keep the enemies dizzy on their turn.
They will return in the second and third sections of Caina within the Abyss of Time during The Answer.
Arcane Turret appears on the 9th and 10th floors of the Marukyu Striptease within the Midnight Channel. In battle, it will either attack or use Mind Charge followed by a Bufudyne spell. While not having any weaknesses, it can be afflicted with status ailments. Upon being defeated, it may drop the Sheet Metal material. Selling 6 Sheet Metals at Daidara will unlock the Knight Scale male armor in the shop.
In Golden, Arcane Turret appears on floors 7 through 10. It may drop Lepidolite for trade at Shiroku Pub.
Arcane Turrets have a chance of attacking twice during a turn. If defeated with Darkness-based attacks they drop the "Turret Belt" material, which is required to create the ultimate weapons for Aigis, Ken, Koromaru, Yosuke, and Yukiko.
The group are requested by their navigators, Fuuka Yamagishi, Rise Kujikawa and Futaba Sakura, to collect three Futuristic Gizmos by killing three Roaring Turrets in A.I.G.I.S so that they can improve their navigation skills by making a machine to amplify them. After defeating the Turrets, the alarms sound and the group are attacked by more Roaring Turrets and a Arcane Turret. After killing those, the navigators get them out of A.I.G.I.S by securing an escape route.
