Aramisaki is an impulsive goddess of Japanese mythology, Amaterasu sent her to defend the vessel that carried Empress Jingu to Shinra. As the Ara Mitama of the Sumiyoshi, she is enshrined at the Sumiyoshi Shrine in the city of Shimonoseki.
"A violent goddess known as the Ara Mitama of the Sumiyoshi gods. When Empress Jingu went to Shinra, Aramisaki was sent by Amaterasu to protect the ship she was on. She is also a jealous god, and is known as a goddess of separation as Aramisakihime."

Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse[]
Aramisaki is the boss in the Challenge QuestRemove a Powerful Deity, where she has been slaughtering humans and foreign gods on Amaterasu's orders to make humans once again fear and serve the Amatsu. She laments failing Amaterasu upon defeat. As mentioned in the quest description, Aramisaki will target Nanashi's female partners during battle, potentially striking down Asahi, Nozomi, Isabeau or Toki multiple times during the battle. Nozomi can somewhat negate this if she has learned the Seducing Shot skill. Nanashi can also employ a gun equipped with Pink Shot to inflict Charm on Aramisaki and make her waste turns.

A new addition to Devil Survivor 2's enhanced release, Aramisaki is needed to fight against the TriangulumSpica. Upon being informed of Spica's approach, the protagonist and the party are instructed to enlist her aid and release her from where she is sealed near Rainbow Bridge. She takes an immediate liking towards the protagonist, calling him "darling" and repeatedly possessing him, to their dismay. She at first refuses to help the party, but when Spica comes near, she assumes it will interfere with her "romance" with the protagonist, and agrees to help.
After Spica's defeat, Miyako Hotsuin swiftly exorcises the protagonist, uneventfully ending Amarisaki's life and unlocking her Fusion. Aramisaki can only be obtained by fusing Lorelei with Makara.
