Alonzo Crotalus is a character in Metaphor: ReFantazio. He is adept at deceiving others, and his targets are always the unscrupulous rich. He never lets anyone read his mind, but he shows a weak side in front of his adoptive mother, his only family.[1] He is one of the protagonist's followers.

Alonzo has a unique worldview, using sly deception as means to bring justice and take down the corrupt, wording it as . Though he comes off as untrustworthy because of it, he is a genuinely sensitive man, especially in relation to his mother.

- With the release of Metaphor, Alonzo has not only become the character with the most Social Stats checks needed to complete his Follower bond with four checks, but Alonzo is also the character with the most variety of Social Stats needed to complete his Follower bond, with each one being a different Royal Virtue check:
- He requires Rank 2 Imagination for him to give a quest that will start his Follower bond.
- He requires Rank 3 Wisdom for his bond's Rank 2.
- He requires Rank 3 Tolerance for his bond's Rank 4.
- And finally, he requires Rank 5 Courage to complete his bond's Rank 7.
