History

Akhkaru, alternatively spelled as Akhkharu, is a female vampire originating from Assyrian lore. They're similar to the succubus, and feed on their victims' life force to survive. They were said to have irresistible sexual appeal, and by the time the victim died, she would have regained her youth and perfect physical health.
