Akane is a calm and polite woman who helps others in need, but can be stern or strict, especially around her brother Dahn. She despairs over what her brother does, as she feels she is incapable of making her dream as a patissier a reality. This fear leads her to decide to become Lord Tento's bride as it's something she knows she can do.
Profile[]
Akane Narita is first introduced as the 19-year old daughter of Tasuke Narita, chairman of the Finance Committee and councilman of the Diet. She hires the Narumi Detective Agency to look for a man named Dahn, but refuses to tell them the reasons for her search. She keeps a forlorn and worried look with her.
As the story progresses, it is revealed that Akane is actually the daughter of Akijiro Tsukigata, leader of the Tsukigata clan, and that Dahn is her brother. Originally, Akane was planned to be sacrificed to the Tento Lords in what is known as the Marriage Ritual, where one of the young women in Tsukigata is offered up as a "bride," allowing the Tento Lords to reproduce. This is done in order to keep Tsukigata Village safe from the Tento Lords, as well as to supply the Fukoshi with Luck Locusts. Akane is trying to find Dahn so that she may persuade him to cease what he is doing in the Capital and stop trying to interfere with the Marriage Ritual, in fear that doing so would endanger the village.
In the Neutral and Chaos routes, she sacrifices herself to help Raidou gain access to Shinado. This results in her turning into Akane The Patient, who must then be defeated to access Shinado. Her defeat then results in her own death.

Etymology[]
- The name Akane means "deep red, dye from the rubia plant" (茜).
- Akane's surname Narita means "become" (成) (nari) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta).
