Agrippa is a demon in the series.

History

Agrippa is based on Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa von Nettesheim, a German polymath, physician, legal scholar, soldier, theologian magician, occultist, alchemist, humanist and early feminist. He is considered one of the most influential occultists of the early modern period. He wrote a book called Female Pre-eminence: Or the Dignity and Excellency of that Sex, above the Male in which he declared that: "…the noble and delicate Feminine Race, does most to infinity excel that rougher, boisterous kind, the Male." He also contributed to the original legend of Faust and Mephistopheles.
